Volunteering for the IAWW Seniors Program
Volunteering Needs of the IAWW SENIORS PROGRAM
1. Monthly Lunch Event
- Registration & Front Window-to monitor calls on the special phone line for reservation, make a list for ordering lunches, on lunch day attend the Ticket window for checking people in.
- Find interesting topics for discussion, arrange speakers, arrange small entertainment pieces, arrange special days for festivals celebration, and hands on activities. Follow up is required.
- Have a regular team for set up, serve lunch (food handling permit required), and clear and clean up.
- Have two people at the Reception Desk to greet people, answer questions, hand out fliers, and help in any other way.

2. Health Fair Logistics Teams:
- 4-5 volunteers for medical screening stations (Blood Pressure, Bone density, etc.)
- 4 Volunteers for the check-in/Registration area
- 3 volunteers for ordering serving and monitoring the food
- 4-5 volunteers for general help (set up, take down, Clean up, and general jack of all trades)
- 2-3 volunteers for preparing information packages, printing brochures, making posters and signs, etc.

3. Spring Concert/ Summer Grandchildren’s Variety Show/Fall Senior Music Program (3 Events)
- 3-4 volunteers to do the general set up and clean up
- 2 volunteers for Reception Desk
- 1 volunteer to set up and monitor sound system
- 2 volunteers for hospitality help

4. Field Trips
- 2 volunteers to plan, organize, and promote the field trip
- 1 volunteer to make arrangement for transportation, food, tickets, etc.

5. Special Occasions Diwali/Dussera
- 2-3 Creative volunteers needed
